For the past four years Kits Energy riders have made this event a priority in their cycling season. For some, they are riding for personal reasons; for friends or family members. Others are riding because they want to support the cause and others are riding simply because it is a very well run event.
No matter what the reason, Kits Energy had over 30 members riding together again this year and sadly I wasn’t able to get a picture with everyone in it. However, we don’t need a picture to remind us that participating in these community events is what brings us closer together. It is through these connections that we can learn to support each other and one day we will stamp out the stigma of mental health. Talking about how our brain is functioning should be just as easy as discussing the cold we had last week. There is no shame in asking for help.
