Looking for a way to stay fit this winter? There is still space in the Kits Energy Power Camp coached by Facundo Chernikoff!
These workouts are high-intensity, using Watts to determine your interval intensity. As you are training with the same people each week, you will be following a progressive program taking you all the way up to the first day of the Spring riding season.
This class is open to all fitness levels. If you are new to power and don’t currently own a power meter this is your chance to get your feet wet and learn without having to invest in one. If you already train with power, you know what you are in for. Be prepared for an intense workout every week.
Space is limited to a maximum of 26 riders so don’t wait too long to sign up. Here are the details:
Every Tuesday starting Jan 7th to March 25th (12 sessions)
NO drop – ins allowed
60 min workouts. 6:45pm to 7:45pm (sharp, no latecomers please)
*If you need to miss a workout, you can cancel online 12hrs ahead of time and your class will be credited towards any other Cadence class – up to a maximum of 3
Cadence Cycling Studio: 106-1529 West 6th Ave
*Please note: There is only one shower and a small change room so it is best to come prepared to ride.
Street pay/free parking or there is a bike rack located in front of the studio.
On the first day, you will become familiar with the bikes, learn how to pair them with your own device (not required) and complete a test to set your Functional Threshold Power (FTP).
After this test, Facundo will calculate your training zones, which you will use for the remaining workouts. On the last day, you will complete another FTP test to see how much you have improved. If you miss the first class, it will be up to you to do your own FTP test at home or check the Cadence schedule for Gregg’s next testing date.
Please contact Cadence or Kristina to learn how to sign up for this class.
